More than a quarter of a century ago begins the story of a company in Prague, which literally began to change the world through its approach to science and technology. This company is CertiCon, established in 1996.
From its beginnings as a small local company with a few dozen developers, it grew into a top science and technology company with almost 400 employees and influence around the world.
Telecommunications, healthcare, industrial production, security. These are the areas in which Certicon applies the knowledge of its experts and develops solutions that improve and simplify the lives of us all. The company’s unique added value is its own applied research and active cooperation with many Czech and world research institutions.

Certicon has employed a quality management system complying with ISO 9001:2009 since 2002.
We hold certificates for design, development, testing, diagnostics and provision of software products, including consulting, outsourcing and other related services. Furthermore, for the design, development, testing and production of digital, analog and mixed electronic circuit signals, including the consulting, outsourcing and other related services.
ISO 13485
This certification demonstrates our ability to develop medical devices and to provide related services that continually fulfill the relevant legal requirements while meeting client requirements. We have expanded the application of healthcare standards and procedures for all our various development activities, including the assessment of risk in the scope of all projects, and without increasing costs. This enables us to work on applications used in critical environments, from medicine to the financial sector.
ISO 14001
This is an international standard that specifies the process for the management and improvement of business performance and its effect on the environment.
ISO 45001
This standard is recognized internationally as a method for assessing and auditing occupational health and safety management systems. It was developed by business leaders and international standards bodies. The standard provides companies and organizations with a framework for the proper and effective management of occupational health and safety.
We manage all our activities by applying methods and standards that lead to successful development. Our methodologies and approaches are chosen by top professionals, who hold internationally-recognized certification such as Project Management Professional (PMI PMP), IPMA, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and ITIL for the optimal organizations of IT services.
ISO/IEC 27001:2013
CertiCon received the internationally recognized ISO/IEC 27001 certificate in Information Security in 2023. This certification confirms our commitment to high standards in information security management for our employees, processes, IT systems and corporate strategy.
As part of our customer projects in the automotive sector, we are Tisax certified with the labels “very high availability” and “information with very high protection requirements” at level 3.
